Yesterday, I went to see “The Gamechangers”, James Cameron’s new documentary about athletes who eat vegan or plant based. Most theaters around the country were completely sold out. The impact of changing their diets on the performance of all different types of professional athletes (pro football players, runners, cyclists, weight lifters) was truly profound. When these professional athletes switched from meat, dairy and eggs to plant based proteins, like beans, grains and vegetables and fruits, they increased their stamina, and dramatically improved their recovery times. Many of them set world records in their categories.
